UKSS - Indoor Clubs Shine

Falkirk GHG

Congratulations to UKSS sponsored Falkirk GHG hockey club for their indoor achievements this season 08/09.

Falkirk romped home to clinch the Men's Scottish National League 3 title with a tremendous 100% record in all matches!Scoring whopping 144 goals they also finished as the highest scoring team in all divisions!

With the aid of player/coach, Olympian Niall Stott if they can continue this form next year they will be destined for top flight hockey there after! Hopefully their good run of form can continue in the remainder of the outdoor season.

Waverley I.T. Men

Yet more success was offered up by UKSS backed Waverley, as they too won their respective indoor division. After narrowly missing out on promotion last season by just 1 point, the WIT boys ensured there were no mistakes this time round, finishing up with 5 point margin.

Like Falkirk, WIT also turned on the style in front of goal finishing just 1 shy of the 100 goals scored mark. So, its National League 3 Indoor hockey for Waverley next season, fingers crossed they can assert themselves at the next level.

Waverley I.T. Ladies

Congratulations to the ladies side as well, in only their 2nd season in National League 2 the ladies narrowly missed out on promotion finishing as runners up.
